Help › Client Management › Payments
Money clients say they have sent, money that has actually arrived, and what you are still owed. It exists because most of this is paid by transfer rather than by card, which means somebody telling you they paid and you checking are two separate events. This page keeps them separate on purpose.
Money clients say they have sent, money that has actually arrived, and what you are still owed. Four figures. Only Last 30 days is money you certainly have. The first two are somebody else's word for it, which is exactly why they are counted separately. So when a client says they paid, nothing reaches their balance until you check your bank and press Received. That is the whole point of this page. Nudge sends a reminder and records that you sent it. Two nudges is usually the point to stop typing and start dialing. Record a payment is for anything that did not come through the site: cash at the door, a transfer you spotted, a cheque.
