People search for the town they live in. Tick the towns you actually serve and each gets a page saying what you do and how far you are from them, linked from your footer. It is the cheapest search work available to a local business, and the only way to get it wrong is to be greedy about which towns you claim.
People search for the town they live in. This gives each town you serve its own page, saying what you do and how far you are from them. The switch at the top is the master control. Off, nothing is published and your ticks are remembered, so you can set the whole thing up and turn it on when you are ready. Choose how far to look. Further is not better: a page for somewhere you would never travel to reads as spam to a person and thin to a search engine. Then tick only the towns you would actually take work in. Eight good pages beat thirty empty ones. For the three or four you most want work from, rewrite the copy so it says something true about that place. That is what makes the difference.
